Project 2025 and Labor Unions

From time to time, issues come up in discussions with others that merit a ‘dump’ of a response created to answer a question, or more often an unsubstantiated opinion (often couched as ‘fact’). Well, it’s just the opportunity this investigative journalist/community advocate and activist/Educator appreciates (actually relishes) to dump as much as possible on the often unexpecting instigator, and anyone else who cares to read, all of the factual information i can amass in 10 minutes or less.

This is one of those posts.

An acquaintance posted a link to a ‘news’ piece about the current SECDEF ordering the termination of union contracts with a note that starts “Isn’t this strange …”. Well, if only it were strange. The Heritage Foundation’s Project 2025 blueprint for destruction of the US Federal Government is fairly clear on the intent to dismantle the Labor Department, and weaken, or force the disbanding, of all labor unions in the country.

And, here’s my 10 minute dive into some of the most dependable sources on how the P2025 intentions will manifest in our society:
